Register: The Courage to Lead 6-Week Online Study Series (Fall 2023)
Description
This 6-week introductory Courage to Lead (CTL) study series is designed to help you examine how you show up as a leader at work, in your community, at home and in any group environment. We will focus on 12 leadership challenges that explore concepts related to care, collaboration, decision-making, authenticity and more. The study also provides tools for deep reflection to harness more effective and courageous leadership in order to overcome common leadership challenges.
What this study is not:
- A workshop of tips and techniques on how to be a better manager
- A crash course in leadership skills
Who should attend:
Kindly note: We are currently testing out this 6-week condensed format with the following groups:
- Past Courage to Lead participants who were unable to complete the 13-week study series or missed a significant number of sessions.
- Past CTL participants who would like a refresher.
- Anyone who has read the CTL book or is willing to commit to familiarizing themselves with the content prior to September 21st and would like to unpack these leadership concepts in a group setting.
Learning goals:
- Enhance self-awareness and draw on your experiences to meet current leadership challenges.
- Broaden and deepen your understanding of effective leadership. Integrate a comprehensive and compassionate approach to leadership into your life and work.
- Deeply reflect on how you can be meaningfully involved in positive change.
What this study is not:
- A workshop of tips and techniques on how to be a better manager.
- A crash course in leadership skills.
What would be required of you?
- Dedicated time to read three chapters of “The Courage to Lead” book per week (approximately 2.5 hours of reading per week).
- The willingness to complete reflective exercises on each chapter.
- A willingness to share your personal perspectives and experiences in online discussions with other participants.
- An open mind and heart to hear from those who see things differently than you.
Cost:
The value of the program per participant is $608 CAD. We are, however, offering it a reduced rate of $100.
